Perfect holiday gateway

Great hotel with amazing views and friendly staff. I liked everything there. I was welcomed by smiley and helpful reception. I really appreciated the early check-in as the room was ready. The garden bungalow was spacious, clean and very cosy. I appreciated the coffee facilities and cosmetics. AC was working very well. The hotel has 2 big swimming pools, drinks served at the bar were delicious. The food in the restaurant (lunch, dinner and breakfast) was delicious and there were plenty options to choose from. Staff (reception, bar, cleaning service, restaurant) should be given extra credits. You get much more for the price you pay and I can truly recommend this place.

Really lovely stay with exceptional staff

We had a wonderful stay , this hotel is a small cosy resort that has fantastic views . We loved the amazing friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay .The room we had had a lovely ocean view and the Hotel offered a regular shuttle bus to the beach which was handy as this hotel does not have a beach as it is up in the hills

Wonderful getaway at Bel Jou with all right vibes and great service you hope for on a vacation!

Amazing staff, plenty of delicious options at the buffet and fun nightly entertainment programs to make our vacation that much more fun. The courtesy shuttle to Vigie Beach and the Castries market were much appreciated! Thank you, Bel Jou!

Amazing stay with friendly welcoming staff

This staff are all super friendly and helpful and welcoming. Everyone of them. It made our stay much more enjoyable. The food selection was great and never boring and the food is so delicious.

For me and my friend the only one thing we wished they had was a duvet. I know it’s summer but a comfy cotton duvet would be so good because the air condition is cold. We have to have the air con on because it is hot. What they provided was just a cotton sheet that to us was not enough.

Great location and service- make most of their generous shuttle service

The care of the staff and their patience and generous attitude made every encounter with all employees a pleasure

Considering that it rains so much, smooth tiles on the floor are hazardeous. The notices r saying it was slippery were useful- better would be non slip surfaces

Amazing fun way to bring in New Year!!

Breakfast was excellent. A variety of traditional American, English and local options, you will not go hungry.

The fine dining was weak, on menu lobster risotto and filet mignon on New Years with a 30$ supplemental charge was a grizzly well done steak that was anything but beef tenderloin/filet mignon. The lobster risotto was a pile of creamy rice with zero lobster in it. The only complaint was the fine dining which I would rate a 5 at best. The service and\ everything else was very good. Sometimes the main bar/bartenders could not mix a good drink or would be put out to fix you a beverage. The rest of the staff was amazing. Princess, Tiny, Kiddo (front desk) Sam, Junior were so awesome and wonderful. We are not usually buffet people but, their buffet was very very good, steak at buffet (flank) was spot on and done well compared to fine dining meat. Their fresh fish sautéed at pool bar was amazing!!

We had an excellent short stay of 0.5 wks and I think that was enough for us.

All food was excellent for all meals. The property caters for its location by providing a shuttle service during the day and it does provide good entertainment on a night time

It is only the location that may put me off going back as it is not central to anything other than itself and you are a fairly captive audience relying on the hotel to provide your entertainment unless you want to spend money on taxis to take you to other areas. I think there are other areas that have more of a vibe and more to do particularly at night such as Rodney Bay area.

Bel Jou - the perfect stay for my first international solo trip

The resort was clean and vibrant; and the view from the balcony was amazing. They had tons of entertainment options, including live bands, dancing, fitness classes, and a shuttle to and from the Friday night street party in Gros Islet. All meals were great, and the staff (especially Madrina and Brendan) were absolutely wonderful. Pecker was the shuttle driver for the duration of my stay, and was knowledgeable and entertaining. The front desk team was accommodating (Stacia was phenomenal). I was there to celebrate my birthday, and I felt secure and welcomed my entire stay. Will definitely be visiting again, hopefully soon.

Heaven on earth

Me and my family stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They all have great airco. The buffet food was to die for! We had amazing local and international food 3x a day. We also had snacks when we were hungry. The drinks were good. The staff is kind and very warm. The pools are nice. The gardens are very tropical and exclusive. They also have a free shuttle to beaches and market a few times a day! FYI there is also a GYM with goodd weights, SPA, vegtable garden and coffee room with tasty cookies! 10/10 reccommend

Very nice and friendly with fine views from the hill above Castries.

Really nice hotel with great views out over the Capital. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was pretty good too. But note that I picked this place because I had business in Castries. Castries, while interesting enough, is definitely not a tourist destination. You'll need to have some sort of transport arranged if you want to get somewhere interesting or be happy just to hang out in what is a very nice hotel - with no kids allowed as the bonus.

Hard to fault this hotel. Given that I was there on business, I would have liked an iron to try and revitalise my shirts after being locked, folded in my suitcase. But they do have a laundry service if you're desperate.

Great stay...can't wait to return

We felt safe and well taken care of. From arrival, we were given welcome drinks and offered an early buffet lunch prior to even being checked in... which was the biggest highlight of the hotel. Let's be real, there are few, if any hotels, that would give you FULL access to everything before even checking in....a game changer for us. Most staff were hospitable. Breakfast was always enjoyable, especially the smoked salmon, tuna, variety of cheeses, egg dishes, french toast, and the best avocados I've had in my life. I enjoyed the non-alcoholic drinks surprisingly, more than the alcoholic ones...it was really good. The pool was fantastic...just wished it was open for longer. The entire hotel was clean, which was a major plus for us. Loved that the rooms are sound proof...we never felt as though we were being disturbed by activities happening on the hotel grounds.

So there's a few kinks that need to be worked out. Firstly, there's an obvious plumbing issue where the water doesn't drain properly in the bathroom. This was extremely frustrating when taking a shower. The bedding, pillows and mattress could be improved. The room didn't match pictures on the website in some ways however, it was comfortable enough and well located in the hotel. Food was sometimes a hit or miss, especially at dinner time. Staff gave different information regarding availability of menus which was very confusing. Even the information printed in the rooms or on the notice board was different in reality. Definitely more cohesion and consistency is needed. The breakfast chef needs to be a little more careful as I was given ham in the omelet, though I asked for a vegetable omelet....l think two chefs should be available during the breakfast period as it was overwhelming when guest were making orders.

On the top of a hill away from the hustle and bustle. Great views.

Isolated location but to be honest you don’t need to go out as it’s all inclusive. Also nearest beach is about 10 mins in a taxi. Worked for me as it was near my work place.
