The staff were exceptional. Security (night) needs lessons in appropriate conversation! Night reception, well. However the food, drink and all facilities were excellent. I will return with others.

Individual behaviour as above. That did not spoil the overall experience and the attention to detail.

Nice hotel, great staff, but needs some TLC.

Nice adults only hotel, with free shuttle service to beach and Castries town. The bar staff were great. The food was great and exceeded our expectations. We preferred the buffet dinner to the a la carte restaurant.

They had run out of beach towels some days. The service at the pool bar was slow. I preferred the bar by the restaurant but this only started serving drinks in the evenings. The seating on the rooftop bar wasn't particularly comfortable.The room was quite dated, and the bathroom was not good, a tiny shower cubicle with the doors hanging off.

September St. Lucia Getaway

The staff were all amazing and very patient. The food was excellent! Traditional Saint Lucian cuisine and plenty of it. The views were amazing and the quiet atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for.

Although there were early day activities available, I would have enjoyed a bit more options for night time activities.

It was just what we needed to rejuvenate us.

Variety at breakfast and the quality of food offerings at all meals. The fine dining option was a great choice and the service was excellent on the evening of August 10th. Outstanding service from Princess, Chef Jean, front desk staff on the days we were there, the Head of Security and the DJ/yoga instructor/guest activities motivator.

A lift would help with the the navigation of the different floors but may impact the beauty of the building.

I liked the Alla Carte Candle Light Dinners! Espacially Cyprone and Princess did an awsome job!

The floors outside have been pretty dirty and have not been cleaned regulary!

Perfect holiday gateway

Great hotel with amazing views and friendly staff. I liked everything there. I was welcomed by smiley and helpful reception. I really appreciated the early check-in as the room was ready. The garden bungalow was spacious, clean and very cosy. I appreciated the coffee facilities and cosmetics. AC was working very well. The hotel has 2 big swimming pools, drinks served at the bar were delicious. The food in the restaurant (lunch, dinner and breakfast) was delicious and there were plenty options to choose from. Staff (reception, bar, cleaning service, restaurant) should be given extra credits. You get much more for the price you pay and I can truly recommend this place.

Really lovely stay with exceptional staff

We had a wonderful stay , this hotel is a small cosy resort that has fantastic views . We loved the amazing friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay .The room we had had a lovely ocean view and the Hotel offered a regular shuttle bus to the beach which was handy as this hotel does not have a beach as it is up in the hills

Wonderful getaway at Bel Jou with all right vibes and great service you hope for on a vacation!

Amazing staff, plenty of delicious options at the buffet and fun nightly entertainment programs to make our vacation that much more fun. The courtesy shuttle to Vigie Beach and the Castries market were much appreciated! Thank you, Bel Jou!

Amazing stay with friendly welcoming staff

This staff are all super friendly and helpful and welcoming. Everyone of them. It made our stay much more enjoyable. The food selection was great and never boring and the food is so delicious.

For me and my friend the only one thing we wished they had was a duvet. I know it’s summer but a comfy cotton duvet would be so good because the air condition is cold. We have to have the air con on because it is hot. What they provided was just a cotton sheet that to us was not enough.

The care of the staff and their patience and generous attitude made every encounter with all employees a pleasure

Considering that it rains so much, smooth tiles on the floor are hazardeous. The notices r saying it was slippery were useful- better would be non slip surfaces

Amazing fun way to bring in New Year!!

Breakfast was excellent. A variety of traditional American, English and local options, you will not go hungry.

The fine dining was weak, on menu lobster risotto and filet mignon on New Years with a 30$ supplemental charge was a grizzly well done steak that was anything but beef tenderloin/filet mignon. The lobster risotto was a pile of creamy rice with zero lobster in it. The only complaint was the fine dining which I would rate a 5 at best. The service and\ everything else was very good. Sometimes the main bar/bartenders could not mix a good drink or would be put out to fix you a beverage. The rest of the staff was amazing. Princess, Tiny, Kiddo (front desk) Sam, Junior were so awesome and wonderful. We are not usually buffet people but, their buffet was very very good, steak at buffet (flank) was spot on and done well compared to fine dining meat. Their fresh fish sautéed at pool bar was amazing!!

We had an excellent short stay of 0.5 wks and I think that was enough for us.

All food was excellent for all meals. The property caters for its location by providing a shuttle service during the day and it does provide good entertainment on a night time

It is only the location that may put me off going back as it is not central to anything other than itself and you are a fairly captive audience relying on the hotel to provide your entertainment unless you want to spend money on taxis to take you to other areas. I think there are other areas that have more of a vibe and more to do particularly at night such as Rodney Bay area.
